This song is a sequel to the previous single 「Revive -Kohai Toshi-」 which is the beginning of the 2nd chapter of 'Vampire Story'.

After King Dreizehn's death, Justice and the Four Knights were living as humans. But why did their vampire blood reawaken? The story will progress from this question from the previous single.
Dreizehn who died as a human, was resurrected by a dark force and lost all of his memories.
Because Dreizehn lost his humanity, as well as his memory, his vampire nature turned him into a bloodthirsty and aggressive monster.
Justice and the Four Knights who are in the lineage of the vampire, reunited with Dreizehn in an unwanted way.
This was not the Dreizehn that they remembered, but instead, an insane, cold-blooded evil vampire king.
Justice figured that his father had lost his memory, so he continued searching for the whereabouts of Dreizehn with the Four Knights.
Was he going to sacrifice people and ignore the bloodshed to save his beloved father, or kill his own father in order to save the world?
When he thought of what his father wishes, there was only one answer there.
Justice has decided to kill his own father which would be the "Daizai(Deadly Sin)" that he bears for the rest of his life.
This song's title "Deadly Sin" means Daizai.
Dreizehn's sin is committing mass murder, although Justice hasn't committed any crime, patricide would be a deadly sin, so I chose this title.

STAR SAPPHIRE

This song's main character is Kircheis, one of the Four Knights.
Between the time of the previous song 「Revive -Kohai Toshi-」and this song「Deadly Sin」, the Four Knights had complicated thoughts.
When fellow vampires celebrated the joy of turning into humans Kircheis felt complicated.
After the incident of Martisor (She was used by her loved one, got betrayed and became ash), his hatred for humans was greater than ever.
Therefore, turning back into a human, which he thinks are a pathetic race was nothing but a pain for him.
It was unpleasant knowing that human blood was running through his own body, and he became sick of human life as well as the powerlessness.
So it was the greatest joy for him that his vampire blood was awakened again. Because for Kircheis, being human isn't being true to himself, but being a vampire is.
Vampires live forever.
Endless time will pass them. Even if Dreizehn forgot the time that the two of them spent together, Kircheis swears that he will spend time with Dreizehn again and again. Kircheis believes that because there is a deep bond between the two of them, even if they start from the beginning, they would go through the same path again and understand each other. Till the day he remembers the same "sin".

The Secret Rose Garden

This song is written as Carbuncle, one of the Four Knights, the story is between the time of 「Revive」and「Deadly Sin」.
Her parents, as well as her uncle Dreizehn, were humans in the past, but Carbuncle was born as a pure vampire.
As she didn't have a memory, and a past as a human, she had been secretly wanting to be a human and only for 3 years (between 「Dandelion」to「Revive」) her wish to live as a human came true.
There is a baby in her belly, but Carbuncle's vampire blood was awakened again.

What will happen to my child........
In the deep forest, there was a secret garden with beautiful wild roses blooming.
As if there were no visitors there, the trees grew out to every direction so it looked as if it were a maze.
The secret garden is still waiting for me to visit right now, but I cannot seem to get there.

At such time, Carbuncle saw a lovely girl who pushes aside the wild rose bushes which was a vision of herself as a little girl. As she followed the girl, she found herself in a familiar place, "The Secret Rose Garden".
Tracing back her memory, she remembered a taciturn boy. He was a Leidenschaft who was beside her no matter what.
He was a beast who served Carbuncle, who is the vampire princess as well as her childhood friend.
Since he was small, he always served her as her knight and was there for her through the happiest to the saddest of moments. Eventually, the two's strong friendship turned into devotion.
Finally Leidenschaft's love reached to Carbuncle because of his pure and strong dedication to her.
Thinking of Leidenschaft who loved her like that, Carbuncle's gloomy mind seems to be cleared a bit.

It looks like Carbuncle has a strong will to welcome their child into this world. And she swears that one day to visit the secret garden with her husband and her child.

Blood War

The last song is instrumental. The song depicts the Four Knights emotion during the absence of Dreizehn.
「Blood War」means the war between the darkness. But Dreizehn, Justice, Carbuncle, Kircheis, Rafaga, and Wilderness are relatives who are descendants of the first king, Eins.
They also have a deep relationship with Dreizehn who was the first vampire king, and made a blood pact with him, which is why I chose this title.
When there is no light, again in the darkness they fought against them with their weapons, they found their old friend as well as the only king in front of them.
In the disaster of the war, what does the future hold for them? I can see that they all have hope, but facing the mystery.
They have to choose the hardest decision, and when Dreizehn's scream turns into sorrow, they will try to kill their beloved friend.......
